Our Services

Use the tabbed sections below to select the type of service that you require more information about.

On most, you will also find a contact form. We will endeavour to get back to you within two working days.

Communion Services

We have a Communion Service at the Priory at 10:45am  each week, apart from the final Sunday of the month when there is a Team Service at one of the churches within the Great Snaith Benefice at 10:00am. The Team Service is held at either Snaith, Cowick, Pollington or Hensall, and details can be found on the Noticesheet, or by using the contact form below.

Our Communion Services are open to anyone, and anyone eligible to take communion in any Christian denomination is welcome to take communion with us.

Our services are based on Common Worship, although we very occasionally conduct a service based on the Book of Common Prayer.

Baptism (Christening) Services

We look forward to helping you celebrate the baptism of your child.

Our services are inclusive, modern, and joyful. On this most special day, we will help you to celebrate the christening in this wonderful building where so many other children have been baptised.

The service will last for about 20 minutes, and usually take place on Sunday at 12:15 noon. In exceptional circumstances, arrangements can be made to accommodate different times.

As well as baptism for children, we welcome anyone who wants to be welcomed into the family of Jesus, no matter what age, so please contact the Rector for further details.

Funerals

Funerals are a time of many conflicting emotions, and we recognise that when it is time to say goodbye to a loved one, it can be very difficult.

We will do all that we can to ensure that the service is dignified, respectful, and a fitting memorial.

The Funeral Director will make contact with us on your behalf to arrange a suitable date and time, and we will then arrange a visit so that we can talk about the life of your loved one.

Music at the funeral is entirely your choice. It is common these days to have a combination of hymns and secular music, and we will do our best to accommodate your wishes.
